I have continued working on „A Minor Beach“ as started in April (see older post) - and have arranged the ideas into the full song consisting of 15 different tracks. Still no effects, no final mixing, no mastering, but anyhow… ![]()
This week I learned something about side-chaining and kick drums that make other channels pumping to the beat - I‘ve created a quick sampler now, not a full song, yet. Still a way to go…. ![]()
Seems I have now understood chord progressions and can also make use of my first knowledge about synthesizers - have a listen to April Beach! I haven’t spent much effort on the arrangement as I‘m still focusing on getting the notes and the sound right… ![]()
... is the title of my new „song“: based on a classic chord progression in A Minor with an easy melody. Still lots of elements and variations missing, but some progress. ![]()
